The closing of the exhibition INVENTORY 1995–2025 also marks the end of the anniversary programme at Halle für Kunst Lüneburg.

SAMUEL BICH's solo exhibition at Halle für Kunst Lüneburg culminates in a publication documenting the Kunstverein’s entire holdings. This comprehensive inventory offers insights into the conceptual considerations, material conditions and personal connections that have evolved over thirty years of institutional practice. In this way, exhibition and publication complement each other: while the exhibition empties the association’s premises, the publication refills them with documents, objects, stories and memories.

The publication will be presented in an artist talk on Saturday, 21 February, at 5 pm.

SAMUEL BICH lives and works in Berlin. He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, the Glasgow School of Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In his artistic practice, he considers strategies of exhibiting and publishing at the margins of institutional structures. He is also director of the art space oxfordberlin and founder of the publishing house Yours sincerely. In 2024, he was awarded the Cathrin Pichler Prize for Art and Science. His works have been exhibited at Printed Matter, Inc. (New York City, USA, 2019) and Kunsthalle Wien (Austria, 2017), among others, and are part of the permanent collections of the Getty Library (Los Angeles, USA) and the University Library of UdK Berlin.
